Sumo
Sumo is japanase traditional sport played by two wrestlers in a circular ring called dahyo. (Da Hye and friend made dahyo with chalk on the street and fought like real sumos) It started centuries ago. There are only 6 sumo tournaments each year. Koi-Nobori: Fish Kite
Every 5th May, Japanese celebrate the Boy's Festival by flying the fish kite "Koi Nobori"- carp fish shaped wind socks (Koi) to honor the healthy growth and development of the boys in the family. The numbers of Koi Nobori put up on the house roof top shows the number of sons the family has. The eldest son gets the biggest koi. Da Hye made her own version of Koi Nobori using tracing paper and read about this Tango-no-Sekku. Too busy to make one, just do the koi nobori coloring then.
